1. The Scott & Co Friend Refer Friend Promotion is available to:
  a. Clients of Scott & Co (Referrers) who:
    i. Refers Friends who are not Scott & Co clients and who complete an advice meeting with a Scott & Co adviser; and
    ii. The Friends must consent to being contacted by Scott & Co and they must complete the Scott & Co ‘Friend refer friend’ webpage including the      Referrer’s name and email address as the referral code.
2. Subject to the terms and conditions below, the Scott & Co Friend Refer Friend for financial advice:
  a. Each Referrer who meets the criteria in 1(a) above will receive a $50 credit to their NZ bank account.
  b. Each Friend who meets the criteria in 1(a) above will receive a $50 credit to their NZ bank account.
3. The value of the Referral Credit will be the amount advised by Scott & Co at the time of offer to the Friend and Referrer. The Referral Credit value may be varied by Scott & Co in its absolute discretion from time to time.
4. To be a valid referral code for the purposes of friend refer friend, the referral code must be the name and a valid email address of the Referrer.
5. Within 20 days of the Friend completing the advice meeting, Scott & Co will contact the Referrer and the Friend to obtain payment instructions. The Referral credit will be processed within 7 business days of receiving valid payment instructions. If Scott & Co cannot contact you within 20 days you are still eligible for payment if you contact Scott & Co within a further 90 days. After that time period payment is at the sole discretion of Scott & Co.
6. The Referral Credit can only be paid to a New Zealand registered bank account in the name of the Referrer or Friend which is capable of receiving a bill payment from ASB Bank NZ. The Referral Credit is not transferrable, refundable nor redeemable for cash.
7. There is no limit to how many Friends can be referred as long as the criteria above are met.
8. It is the responsibility of the Friend to contact Scott & Co and arrange the advice meeting.

General terms and conditions:

1. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of any terms and conditions.
2. This promotion is open until 31 July 2023. Any advice meeting completed after this date will be eligible for a Referral Credit at the discretion of Scott & Co.
3. Scott & Co reserves the right to extend, postpone, or cancel the promotion and/or to update the terms and conditions without notice and for whatever reason, either generally or with respect to specific individuals.
4. All Friend referral entries into the promotion become the property of Scott & Co. Entry into the promotion constitutes consent by the Friend to be contacted by Scott & Co and its advisers. All Friends’ personal information will be held in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 by Scott & Co and in accordance with Scott & Co’s Privacy Statement which is available at scottco.co.nz . Any requests to access, update or correct any information should be directed to Scott & Co using the contact details available on the website scottco.co.nz .
5. Persons referred may receive a Statement of Advice from Scott & Co if they choose to implement advice from one of Scott & Co’s advisers.
6. Scott & Co, Jackie Scott, and their respective associated agencies, companies and employees shall not be liable in any way (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss) or for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained by any person directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with this promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Scott & Co is not liable for any tax implications that may result from the Referral Credit. The Referral credit is provided by Scott & Co Financial Services Limited.
7. Nothing in these terms or conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify the Friends’ rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
